President Droupadi Murmu showcased her passion for sports by engaging in a badminton match with Olympic bronze medallist Saina Nehwal at the Rashtrapati Bhavan’s Badminton Court on Wednesday. The event highlighted India’s prowess in badminton, especially with women players making significant global impacts.

As part of the ‘Her Story – My Story’ lecture series featuring women Padma Awardees, Saina Nehwal, celebrated for her achievements including being the first Indian woman player to attain World No.1 ranking and receiving Padma Shri and Padma Bhushan, will deliver a lecture and interact with the audience at the Rashtrapati Bhavan Cultural Centre on Thursday.
